Dr. Nam Cho
Dr. Nam Cho is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and is the Director for the Residency training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the USC School of Dentistry. He is actively involved in educating residents in the clinic and operating room setting. Dr. Cho completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology. He went on to complete dental school, medical school, a general surgery internship, and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at USC. His primary interests include dentoalveolar and implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, general anesthesia and facial trauma surgery.
Dr. Cho enjoys spending his free time with his wife and young sons. He enjoys golf, fishing and cheering for local sports teams.
Dr. Jeffrey Hammoudeh
Dr. Jeffrey Hammoudeh is board certified in both oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as plastic surgery and holds faculty appointments at both the Keck School of Medicine of USC and the USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Hammoudeh earned a double doctorate in medicine and dentistry at Northwestern University, then he completed surgical internships in oral and general surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush Presbyterian Hospital. He completed his general surgery prerequisites at Massachusetts General Hospital before completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Harvard Program. Subsequently, he went to Jackson Memorial Hospital and completed formal training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, whereupon, he completed a fellowship in pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. His interests include craniofacial surgery, vascular anomalies, orthognathic surgery, reconstructive surgery, as well as adult plastic surgery. Dr. Hammoudeh has co-authored many book chapters covering maxillofacial trauma, reconstruction and general plastic surgery, as well as articles for peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Lauren Odono
Lauren Odono was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, and she has travelled up and down the California coast for her education. Dr. Odono completed her college education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, when she was a student-athlete competing in crew (rowing) and track & field. Her next stop up the coast was to San Francisco, where she attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Finally, Dr. Odono made her trip back to Los Angeles, where she completed a general practice residency and internship and oral & maxillofacial surgery residency training at the University of Southern California.
As a resident, Dr. Odono was able to gain hands-on experience at numerous institutions in the Los Angeles county area, including LAC+USC Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Keck Hospital, Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, Long Beach Miller Children’s Dental Health Clinic and the Herman Ostrow University of Southern California School of Dentistry. She was able to participate in numerous surgeries from orthognathics, biopsies, dental and facial trauma and temporomandibular joint replacements to dentoalveolar surgery and implants. Dr. Odono offers a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery treatments.
When not at the office, Dr. Odono enjoys spending time with family and friends, fly fishing, attending sporting events, hiking, travelling and cooking. Dr. Odono looks forward to meeting you in the future!
Dr. Natalie Tung
Dr. Natalie Tung is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. She joined PCOMS after completing her residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. During that time, she also obtained her MD from Harvard Medical School. Prior to that, she went to UC Berkeley for college, majoring in biology and business, and then she went to UCLA for dental school. Having grown up in Southern California, Dr. Tung returned home to sunny LA after her 6-year residency. She currently lives with her family (including 2 sons, Matthew and John Francis) in Orange County. She enjoys spending time with her boys, reading, volunteering at church and playing sports, including tennis, basketball and golf. She has special interests in dentoalveolar surgery including implants and bone grafting, orthognathic surgery and facial trauma. Dr. Tung is also currently a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Predoctoral Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at USC.
Dr. Mark Urata
Dr. Mark M. Urata is the Audrey Skirball-Kenis Chair and Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He is also Head of the Division of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and Director of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Urata is uniquely qualified with board certification in both oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as plastic surgery and holds faculty appointments at both the Keck School of Medicine of USC and the USC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Urata trained for 18 years following his undergraduate education. He received his dental degree from the USC School of Dentistry and his medical degree from the USC Keck School of Medicine. He completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery before matriculating to general surgery and then completing a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at USC. He then moved across town where he completed a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.
He specializes in the most complex craniofacial anomalies, including craniosynostosis, syndromic reconstruction, vascular anomalies, pediatric and adult craniomaxillofacial trauma, post-traumatic reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, and aesthetic surgery of the head and neck and jaw deformities.
Dr. Urata has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and has been voted amongst the nation’s top surgeons according to multiple sources including U.S. News and World Report, Best Doctors and America’s Best Plastic Surgeons. He maintains NIH funded research within the Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology related to defining TGF Beta signaling in palatogenesis. He is also interested in computerized planning of Le Fort III and orthognathic surgery and outcomes studies on cleft lip and palate.
